Soulful and Just What The Doctor Ordered, February 22, 2007

Janie Chu's got a very soothing and beautiful sound that you cannot deny. Her songs are heartfelt and come at you very bold but yet tenderly. Roots gives you a mix of rock, jazz, soul, and pop from it's soulful title song Roots and upbeat 21st Century Creature to the sweet piano melody song Beautiful. This album is exactly what the doctor ordered!
