After reading The Unencumbered Spirit by William Scott Wilson, I was motivated to see how the philosophies of the book translated to comic form. While some of the meaning of the works looked a bit different (perhaps as a different translation) the overall spirit and philosophy of the book was there. The themes of balance, moderation, and being in tune with nature is very common, though what I especially like about this book is that it sets a good standard for a middle path. So, for example, while it's good to reflect on nature and take some time alon0e to think, one shouldn't also live in complete solitude all the time. Being around people is also important. Overall, I highly recommend it!
