This is exactly what I expected---a large roll of slightly rough twine. I use it for tying together cardboard boxes for recycling. It's too rough for kitchen applications, but seems great for less-fine uses. It's easy to pull a length out of the middle (one end was in the middle)---no need to unravel from the outside. The twine seems reasonably strong.

Thickness varies and gets thin in places, but it is still a good value. Also, be aware that it has a strong smell (similar to diesel fuel), which I believe is the natural odor of sisal. I use the twine to bundle small branches for the township to pick up. Due to thinness, I can't tie it too tightly, but it works fine (and is biodegradable).

There are more half knots and fat splices than I have had before. I use a dispenser to pull long lengths for garden work and it keeps getting jammed at the exit hole. Size of the roll and price were fine.

I bought this to string train and secure my tomatoes, cucumbers, winter squash, bell peppers, eggplant, grape vines. etc...
It has the strength needed to hold up heavy loads of ripening tomatoes. The twine pulls out easily from the center of the spool so I just poked a hole through the labeled end, pulled out the end of the twine and just left the plastic wrap intact around the rest of the spool. And with 2250 feet this will get me through several years of securing my plants.

Perfect for supporting plants in the garden which is what I use it for. Would also be fine for bundling up packages. It is pretty rough stuff, some reviewers have complained about this - but it's what I expect sisal twine to be. It's not silk thread after all! It pays out fine from the center, I had no tangles or problems with it. Massive amount of it, too, which is nice because I always seem to run out in the middle of a job. That won't happen again for another 10 years or so!

Great for tying up garden vegetables and small brush. I have a lot of tall ornamental grasses and this is perfect for tying them up
for the dump.
Note the test load for this twine is 75 pounds.
Stronger than most but not able to tie up tree branches.

This twine breaks to easily, often unexpectedly, when there's not much pressure on it. Might be ok for tying up plants in the yard if they aren't very heavy. Not sure what I'm going to do with 2,200 feet of this twine now as I don't trust it for much of anything.

I use these to tie up branches, etc around the yard, for the county recycle pickup. Very strong, and there's enough to last a year or more. You could use it for bundling cardboard, too, but I have the big rolling bin for that stuff. Nice quality stuff.
