5.0 out of 5 stars I love this song.
This song is from their hit album "Aquemini", and it's just mind-blowingly beautiful. The harmonica break heavily represents the southern-feeling of Outkast. It's one of Outkast's definitive songs (B.O.B. Ms. Jackson, So Fresh, So Clean, Gasoline Dream, etc.) I highly recommend this to anybody. It's not violent at all that kids can listen to it, and the whole song is very...

1.0 out of 5 stars Rosa Parks is decent song until the cowboy comes in
The song is OK until the cowboy comes in. It doesn't mix well with the rest of the song. Outkast should rethink how to organize the song and then come out with it again. It will be a good song when they think of a replacement for the cowboy.

It's one of Outkast's definitive songs (B.O.B. Ms. Jackson, So Fresh, So Clean, Gasoline Dream, etc.) I highly recommend this to anybody. It's not violent at all that kids can listen to it, and the whole song is very friendly to ears. If you want more than just a few songs, then buy Aquemini (It's a very great album). I'll sum up with this quote: "Ah, ha. Hush that fuss. Everybody move to the back of the bus. Do you wanna bump and slump with us, we the type of people make the club get crunk."

Don't forget Outkast's new album "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below", which is also very good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great step forward from ATLiens, June 18, 2004
This review is from: Rosa Parks (Audio CD)
ATLiens was great, but Rosa Parks, the 1st single off Aquemini, was even better. It was the first upbeat Outkast song in a while, and it couldn't have been better. The hook is catchy, and the harmonica solo is great too (how many harmonica solos are there in rap?). Dre tears it up on the second verse like no other. It's a shame that the REAL Rosa Parks had to file a lawsuit on these guys, all they did was be geniuses!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best original rap song in years, April 11, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Rosa Parks (Audio CD)
It's the best original rap song in years. I mean the beat is so up tempo and happy, you can't stay in a bad mood and hear this song at a club or on the radio. The "breakdown" part is so smooth. That's the most original part of the entire song. I mean how many rap songs do you know with a harmonica in the background? It's a hit from beginning to end.

5.0 out of 5 stars I've never before experienced rap like this., March 5, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Rosa Parks (Audio CD)
Outkast, in my own personal opinion, is the hottest group out there. I have been in love with the lyrics of both Big Boi and Andre since album number 1. Although there were minor changes in the group's appearance and rapping style, I was still turned on even more by the intellectual factor of the group. My favorite CD from Outkast would have to be ATliens. I heard Outkast before, but never in the way that they represented themselves in ATliens. I fell in love with the CD the first time my ears heard it. It's one of those CD's that you can play forever and it never bores you. Each time you here the lyrics it sounds like the first time. That Aqemini joint was off the hook and they deserved every bit of "Hip-Hop Classic" for it. I still listen to that, every since I bought it back in October. I buy new CD's, but they all play out so quickly. When you make quality music like Outkast or Goodie Mob, it sets your mind at ease when you listen to it instead of giving you a headache. The only thing that Outkast does is Educate not Playa Hate!!! I'll always love Outkast, because they are as real and original as they come. Keep up the good work.
