Rosana is one of the best-sellers singers in Spain, she has the power to decide to record an album every 3 years. Her selling status helps her very much with this kind of decision.
She only has 3 albums and this one is the happiest one. Her letters are painful but beautiful. But "Rosana" has a little bit of everything, good lyrics, more flamenco rhythms mixed with that big talent that this woman has.
Her music can be compared with Alejandro Sanz but she's much better.
This album includes the hit singles: "Pa'ti no estoy" (I'm not here for you), "Gira" (Spin) and "Hoy" (Today).

ROSANA:One of the best Cd's I have in my collection. Rosana has this ability to make anyone feel good. The music is that kind that dosn't fall into any caterogy, it is simply:Rosana. The melodies are infectious, the voice strong and with an awsome texture, and the lyrics are modern folk poetry. My english is novery good yet, so expresing how special Rosana's music is for me is hard, but I can tell you that every one of her CD's brings up the most positive thoughts in my head. When I listen to Rosana I see the world through this good frame of refrence, where everything, no mater how bad can be overcomed with a positive mind. A bad relationship, a crapy day, stress... Rosana is like a pill of energy. She sings to life, and makes you wanna do the same. Buy The three CD's. You won't regret it. JP

Well...I'm living in Spain studying Spanish at the moment. I picked this CD up to start learning about some of the cantautores in Spain. This woman is absolutely amazing. 2.5 years may be long to wait between albums but when you write and compose everything on your own...well...I think it would be worth waiting for. I also have her first two CDs and like them just as much as the most recent. Each has a slightly different theme and flavor. What I like most about Rosana is that she does not sound commercial.

This is my first CD by ROSANA. I'm very impressed! Oftentimes, singers try to mimic other successful singers. In this CD, I find ROSANA has a very good and unique singing voice and style that I can't compare to anyone else. Each track is unique and the overall arrangements are very good. I especially like the track "Donde Ya No Te Tengo" since it has a jazzy / blues feeling.

The only track that I really don't like is "Mil Y Una Noche" because I'm not a big fan of mariachi. I didn't deduct for it because it is the "bonus" track. I guess that's what I really like about this CD. It goes from a jazzy / blue track to a pop track to a mariachi track. Lucky for me, there's only one mariachi track which I can avoid.

cuando hablas de rosana, estas hablano de la mejor cantautora que existe. paraque yo me atreva a ponerla al status de alejandro sanz tiene que ser definitivamente una estrella de las pocas que valen la pena. De ella me encanta su fuerte voz y la increible fuerza que tiene para interpretar sus canciones. Este es un disco merecedor de 5 y mas estrellas. Como todo lo que hace..simplemente extraordinario. la cancion que mas me gusta seria donde ya no te tengo.

Rosana has the perfect mix of poetic lyrics, gorgeous voice & catchy tunes--this is one of the few CDs I own that I can listen to over & over & over again & never get tired of it. It is a bestseller in Spain for very good reasons--pure soul. Some songs are a little melancholic, some are just exuberantly happy--it is a must hear, you won't regret it.

I listen to the wonderful internet radio now(who NEEDS satelite!) and get channels from all over the world...Today I was listening to RADIODEEGAY(you can find it on iTunes radio list)from Italy...and they played a Rosana song and I immediately went to download one album and it was this...I grew up in Barcelona, so it's kind of my second home, besides New York City...and I always love great Spanish singers,films etc. coming out of this country....they stick to their own flavor of expressing life...and it's thousands of years of history(and I'm sure influence from some Americanos) when you hear music like this ,that has influenced the entire aura of the sound of it.

well my review is this::: what a voice!!!!..I didn't know if she was Spanish or something else BUT she's a special talent...AND I love this album...I will dl the rest of her music...Thank you RADIODEEGAY for turning me on to Rosana

Rosana expresses to me (an Englishman) the soul of the very best of Spanish womanhood: joyous, passionate, mischievous, delightful, devoted, suffering, sensuous, rhythmic, happy-to-be-a-woman (sigh!)

The lyrics - pure poetry seeming to come from the depths of her soul - and the "girl-next-door" joyful naiveté of her voice make you want to pick her up and make love to her forever (no disprespect intended, ma'am).

What more can I say? Buy *all* her work to keep her writing and singing, and give thanks to God for this amazing woman.

I'm off to take a cold shower...

i had immediately fallen in love with the two luna albums..this one however hasnt got me turning back to listen to it..still same style and the same beautiful voice...hopefully i wont have to wait another 2.5 yrs.for the next album
