About the Author

Akihisa Ikeda was born in 1977 in Miyazaki. He debuted as a mangaka with the four-volume magical warrior fantasy series Kiruto in 1999, which was serialized in Monthly Shonen Jump. Rosario+Vampire first ran in Monthly Shonen Jump, in March 2002. In Japan, Rosario+Vampire is also available as a drama CD. In 2008, the story is scheduled to be made into an anime.

More About the Author

Akihisa Ikeda was born in 1976 in Miyazaki. He debuted as a mangaka with the four-volume magical warrior fantasy series Kiruto in　2002, which was serialized in Monthly　Shonen Jump.　Rosario+Vampire debuted in Monthly Shonen Jump in March of　2004 and is continuing in the magazine Jump Square (Jump SQ) as Rosario+Vampire: Season II.　In Japan, Rosario+Vampire is also available as a drama CD. In 2008, the story was first released as an anime.　Season II is also available as an anime now.　And in Japan, there is a Nintendo DS game based on the series.　Ikeda has been a huge fan of vampires and monsters since he was a little　kid. He says one of the perks of being a manga artist is being able to go for walks during the day when everybody else is stuck in the office.

This is a great new arc in the rosario series and a hint of the type of action coming in the series. The translation is good and the artwork for each charcter has improved from the more childish look they had at the begining. Tsukune gets a third change to go ghoul and kck some but. We also get to see some of what witches face in the outside world. up till now we have seen the microcosm of monsters at school, but that isn't were the live most of their lives, the live among humans and hide. It was also interesting to see that witches have no way to just know who is human and monster and they seem equally bad in the eyes of a witch.
