The suction tub bar is great. It attaches easily and holds tight. I am tempted to put a label on it - "Use for balance only, not to support full weight." I have not had a problem at all but there is a warning in the packaging.

My family has been using these grab bars for several years. They exceed anything else available for assistance in standing or rising in the shower or tub because of their astonishing holding power. Following back surgery, I was very tentative when entering a shower for fear of slipping and falling, but these bars were both helpful and reassuring in helping me keep my feet under me rather than above my head! I recently installed one of these in our Endless Pool so that I could have an anchor point to keep my body at a correct angle while I practice my [anemic] kick. The grab bar never budges even under water!
I rate these as the best use of technology for a practical purpose I have encountered, in my shower or my pool!

We have been using this as soon as we unpacked it. It is on a Fiberglass tub wall. This is not what it was designed for but we only use it as a support not lifting our weight.
It was worth every cent.
