Great Disc, But Not The Original Versions, July 22, 2008

I grabbed this disk as I love this band, and it is great listening but I have to warn you that if you are looking for the EXACT original versions of these songs, then don't get this disk! I would suspect it was a studio recording of their hits done at a later date, and as such, they don't sound exactly as the ones you hear on the radio or on other albums.
That said, this is still a wonderful CD from a great band! The song quality is as good as the originals, they are just slightly "different." But either way, you will still fully realize the timeless talent Rose Royce had!

They had the best female vocals that never got the 5-Stars, August 5, 2004

This live CD and the "Magic Touch" live import are just great!! Rather its Gwen Dickey or Richie Benson leading the vocals, it doesn't matter. Both of these females do not get the R&B stature as some of their other counterparts (Patti LaBelle, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, etc...). I've always said Dickey and Benson have vocal ranges like Minnie Ripperton. They have INCREDIBLE VOICES!!!
As for the band, these guys always play at a VERY HIGH LEVEL!!! They have always had good strings and brass mixture to complement the sadistic drum playing!!!
Of course Mr. Kenneth Copeland is bringing the vocals on these CDs as well!!!
