A strong, urban effort. 3.5 stars.
October 14th, 2010 An uplifting R&B song about being a delicate but strong rose in a world that can certainly take advantage of you. This song is mainly for women out there, but I've always liked it. It has an urban vibe to it with the beat and as you know the lyrics are supposed to give you higher spirits if you've ever been taken advantage of by a man...

An uplifting R&B song about being a delicate but strong rose in a world that can certainly take advantage of you. This song is mainly for women out there, but I've always liked it. It has an urban vibe to it with the beat and as you know the lyrics are supposed to give you higher spirits if you've ever been taken advantage of by a man. Lauryn Hill wrote this song for Aretha which is a part of A Rose is Still a Rose. She and Faith Evans also make an appearance in the video. 3.5 stars or a 7/10.
