The Dale Warland Singers have created a Christmas album of gentle beauty and musical challenge. The playlist encompasses styles from Gregorian chant to contemporary tone clusters. It's impossible to pick a favorite piece, although Healy Willan's "The Three Kings" leaves the listener breathless. This was one of the best gifts I got this year.
