Rosemarie Kaupp is an RN who uses her many years experience as a school nurse to write children's fiction. She wants to create happy memories for children and parents and unforgettable characters who will become lifelong friends. Amberella was inspired by Ms. Kaupp's faithful and affectionate corgi, pit bull mix companion of seventeen years, Amber.
Ms. Kaupp recently received three excellent book reviews for The Amberella Tales. One from Kirkus Review, a four star review from ForeWord Clarion Review and a starred review from Blue Ink Review. Amberella in the City was chosen as Blue Ink's May 2012 Top Review of the Month. Amberella and Double Double Trouble was selected by The US Review of Books as a Recommended Book
Ms. Kaupp continues to work as a substitute school nurse. She enjoys the contact with her young students. She loves the French language so it was introduced into The Amberella Tales through French poodle sisters, Zozue and Tutsu.
With the writing of The Amberella Tales series, Ms. Kaupp fulfilled a dream. One more book will follow, Amberella and the Troublesome Nine.
