The renowned Danish designer Erik Bagger has created this top rated pourer to match the rest of his Grand Cru offerings and it fits securely in his coasters. Classic cru that absolutely won't leak,

I spent a long time looking for the perfect combination of good reviews and the right price.
After going through a lot of other dispensers that allways left a residue on the kitchen counters, this cru has solved that problems. It will not leak. Not down the side, not on the counter. I've allways had to keep a little disc or tupperware top under my oil dispensers to hold the oil that pools around the bottom. I was a little put off by the price of this cru. But the good looks and dependable non-spills means I'll never have to waste money replacing it. I bought the 1st one for olive oil and recently bought another for canola oil - both from Amazon. The contrast of the darker olive and lighter canola looks good on the counter. By the way the packaging is very elegant; both the package immediately around the cru and outer package. They also included a mini catalog of other Fjorn products. One last point - the oil pours slowly and very precisely - no unexpected gushes.

Not worth its price,

I was a little hesitant about springing for this olive oil pourer at $50, but it looked very sleek and high quality from the pictures and description. Alas, I was very disappointed when the product arrived. The packaging was very nice, but the quality of the pourer itself is simply not worth anywhere near its price. I would probably pay no more than $20 for this. Also, the metal part of the spout had what looked like a jagged, unfinished edge and some slight discoloration. All in all, not the high quality, sleek design I was hoping for when I (over)paid for this item. This is one of those items that would only successfully sell online.

I purchased two of these and had the following problems:
* tiny metal shavings around the spout * extremely sharp metal spout that can gave me a nasty cut * the metal piece separated from the rubber spout * warped lip area (where it's suppose to catch the oil from dribbling) due to item packaging (not ship packaging) The metal piece was not properly deburred and left extremely sharp. The item packaging is poorly designed because the box flap folds in to hold the cruet by the spout which then causes the lip to warp. A warp lip may cause oil to dribble out. Also, you have to remove the spout from the bottle by pulling on the metal piece which is attached with only a little bit of glue.
