What was lovely in this book (as is in all her books) is the re-appearance of characters from her previous works.

This was the first book by Heather Huffman that I have had the pleasure of reading. I wish I had found her books earlier. I'm one of those people that reads just about everything I can get my hands on and my Kindle and Nook have sure made things easier for me. However, because of that, I end up reading alot of books that I really wish I hadn't.

This book was different. I just finished it and I was thoroughly impressed. It wasn't just the plot - which was outstanding, by the way - it was the character development. By the end of the book, I felt as though I knew the main characters intimately and that is what makes the book such a great read. You don't want the book to end and when it does, it's a letdown.

If you're looking for a book to occupy a few hours of your time and one that will stay with you after you close it, then Roses in Ecuador is for you.

My favorite scene is in the first few pages when Devon meets Jane in the bar. This is a scene that I can relate in my own personal life, as it's rather the way I met my own husband.

One of the reasons I chose this book was because I read a story about the author's dedication to promoting awareness about human trafficking. It is such a noble cause and one that doesn't pertain to any one region of the world. Since I read Roses in Ecuador, I did a little reading on human trafficking, as well, and I have to say that if she wanted to open people's eyes to the problem, she accomplished that on my end.

That's about all I have to say about Roses in Ecuador. I'm off to read more of Heather's books. Grab one while you can. If this one was this good, I know the others will be, too. What fun!

Another wonderful read by Heather Huffman.

Heather introduces us to Jane Russell, who is working and living on a jaguar preserve. She is brought together with Devon McAllister through a twist of events. There's conflict, there's humor and like the rest of her books, you find a deeper message that ties into the human trafficking awareness the author has focused on.

Like her other books, Roses in Ecuador is reads easily. The story flows well, the dialogue doesn't lag and there's no shortage of suspense, comedy or romance. They are fresh and filled with experience that brings an enriching depth to the story. Even on my second read through of the book I didn't want to put it down until I read the very last page.

Start with this book, or go back and grab them all. While they are not a series ,there is carryover of characters which will endear them to you, and leave you eager to get glimpses of them in the other books.

Heather Huffman has done it again with Roses in Ecuador! This book is romantic, filled with action, funny and sheds light on a real issue in the world. I love that her books are romantic without being graphic. I love getting to know the characters. Heather's characters are always strong women and this book is no exception. After you read this book, you will want to read all of Heather's other books. While her books are not a series, she intermingles characters amongst her books so you get to meet up with your favorite characters again! Because they are not a series, you can read them in any order and still love them! Once you read one of her books you will be hooked.

If you are looking for a book that is filled with romance, comedy and a little mystery this book is for you! I was fortunate to receive this book as an Advanced Reader. It is a truly amazing book. Like all Heather's books it was an easy read that sucks you right into the plot. Heather does an amazing job of educating the reader about real world problems through a romantic story line.
I have read all of Heather's books, and this was one of my favorites thus far! If you have not read any of Heather Huffman's other books I highly recommend checking them out today, you will not be disappointed!

Heather Huffman's books have romance, suspense and just the right amount of comedy. I received this book as an Advanced Reader Copy, and I couldn't put this book down! It has characters from Heather's previous works, which is part of what makes her books so great! It is so amazing to get to revisit what happens after "The End" of one book in another!

Another thing that is great about Heather's book is her dedication to bringing awareness to human trafficking. Never before have I seen an author so dedicated to a cause, and you can tell by Heather's books, research and the fact that her early books were given away for free to get the message out that she is, indeed, dedicated to bringing awareness to this cause.

This book quickly became one of my favorites, tied at the top only with Heather Huffman's other works. You won't be disappointed! Her natural writing style and intriguing plot lines will get you from the first page!

First I will do my best to keep this review short, personally I don't read those reviews that seem to last for days.
This Book like her other 7, has a wide variety of issues, Jaguars, Roses, not just Love, but Danger, a bit of Mystery, of
course Family, Action(the attempt to rescue Rose workers from the Bad Guys), at the Least expected time Heather throws
in HUMOR.
There is no waste of words or pages, it will Peak your interest, and hopefully AWARENESS of the treatment of People in
this era STILL.
Speaking of Words, I just ADORE how Heather ALWAYS puts WONDERFUL words together so BEAUTIFULLY!!
i did get an Advanced copy of Roses, i am on a VERY SPECIAL team.
Please if you would like to have a GREAT read, pick up Roses in Ecuador, for a LIMITED time it is only 99 Cents.
