Alan's piece is beautifully intense. It has an ambiguity to it that allows you to hear and get what you need to from it without making you feel like he was just trying to make it sound different.and besides all that... it is just freaking awesome to sit and listen to.

This poem with it's excellent instrumentation is beautiful and will have you listening time after time on those days when you're alone at home and you can turn the volume up high and feel the intensity of it sound in your house. The intensity increases as it gets closer to ending with a loud mechanical sound replacing the prior sound of nature you hear. The reason I wrote inspiring at the top is because it inspired me to make a video for the piece.
