First off: I have 8, yes EIGHT different Rosetta Stone language sets (I am a language nerd). Ok,I purchased Rosetta Stone v2 level 1 when it first came out. I recall passing by the kiosks they have set up in the local mall and asking the salesperson if Persian 2 had come out yet. "No, not yet" was the usual response. Then, finally, they release version 2. I hadn't finished level 1 yet, but before I knew it they THEN come out with version 3, which includes a revamped style with levels 1,2 and 3. Here is my problem: What the hell am I going to do with my level 1 when they don't sell levels 2 and 3 in a pack? It forces you to buy a level you already have and it would end up costing just as much as 1,2 and 3 to buy them separately. This happened to me already for Russian (I bought level 1 then they come out with 1, 2 and 3, and like a boob bought the newer version).Confused yet?
Obviously I believe the product is very good, but the price range and the odd release dates leave me with a bad taste in my mouth. Thus, if you have purchased levels 1 and/or 2 you should write the company. I plan to. I have spent a lot of money and I find it highly annoying that I can't even sell level 1, but have to pay full price for the rest. Or as they say in Farsi: Ien bad ast. I would write something more eloquent but alas, I only went through level 1!

I haven't used Rosetta Stone products before but I definitely see how they've earned their fantastic reputation. Excellent and very user-friendly.
