Because of the language diversity in the USA, learning American English can be difficult. I work for a Japanese company and purchased several copies for distribution of this product to my Japanese co-workers in Japan three months ago. Last week I visited Japan and was extremely surprised at their level of speaking American English. When I complemented them on their level of speaking American English that said their level was due to three things, Rosetta Stone, watching American TV programs and speaking American English amongst co-workers.

This program was an excellent addition to my girl friend's experience in learning English. She was drawn into active use of the tool through the use of colorful and interesting photos as well as choices presented to her. I saw her struggling to stay awake while using another program. There were some occasional difficulties in getting through certain pronunciations. However, staying awake was not a problem with Rosetta Stone. This tool is a valuable component to anyone's study of a new language.

Overpriced !! It is all about Marketing!! It is obvious that Roseta stone has spent millions of dollars in Advertising. They need to make up for the investement by overpricing a simple product. Just buy any other inexpensive software.

It seems like a neat and wonderful product. I bought it for my wife who speaks some English. She hasn't used it as much as I would like, however.

After kind of a chill, the product wasn't deliver by ups, Amazon services as well as Fedex did a magnificient job to rush a new rosetta to me. I downloaded it to my computer and enjoy now the simplicity and efficiency of rosetta language.

So Bravo Rosetta!!! Bravo Amazon!!! Bravo Fedex!!!!

on two previous occasions I have met all the requirements to purchase a product and eventually the shop does not fulfill its promise without them having any penalty and any benefit to me as a buyer. the last store to which I refer is Cubamania 7. books they had to delivered (Rosetta Stone English (US) Levels 1,2,3,4 & 5 Set with Audio Companion.

could be a strategy some businesses place items at low prices only to find customers but their real interest is not to sell the product that could be for the following reasons:

a) may be a sales gimmick.
b) they may not have the product.
c) can be a person with two names of commerce and so find the best buyer and does not comply with the client prior commitment.

The truth is that. customers are left disappointed with the previous goals they have with the product, I call on amazon to observe these details are very disturbing and certainly could be less effective for its recognized name.

First off, I was very disappointed that you could only use this product on one computer. We wanted to give it away to a family member to learn English, but could not. Also, it could not run on Windows 7. Highly overpriced product. I am disappointed and regret buying this product. The product I bought was not for me, my is fine.

I ordered this item at January 20, which has not been delivered yet by February 21. I contacted this seller (JAUSSI72) but I've got no response and I had to contact Amazon.com, but I realize to have to wait until March 3, when they make a decision of what to do with my order. It is very frustrating because it is supposed to be my gift to my mother for her birthday, but the time is approaching and I do not know whereabouts.

Words cannot express my dissatisfaction with this product. I am a Turkish artist and in wanting to gather inspiration for my future artwork, I planned a world tour, stopping in all the cultural hot spots of the world including France, Italy, Brazil, Azerbaijan, and of course the center of it all, America. I purchased Rosetta Stone software for all the respective languages of the countries I would soon experience. I knew learning a new language, let alone several, would take a lot of dedication. Learning the languages was a lot of fun although the English language in particular was hard to nail down, but I knew learning it would open so many new opportunities for me.

With the knowledge of half a dozen new languages in me, I embarked on my world tour. My first stop, Italy, was amazing. Speaking to the locals was awkward at first, but once they assured me I was speaking Italian just fine, it became really fun and rewarding. I hoped that my venture into France would be just as successful.

Country after country, knowing the language helped me immerse myself in culture. I had discovered so much and I had yet to reach the tip of the iceberg, the cultural melting pot that is America. I was so excited. I could not wait to speak the same language as the American people I had heard so much of.

After landing in Miami, Florida, I had started walking towards my hotel when I noticed a group of people walking towards me. I viewed it as a prime moment to speak English, as I hoped to ask someone if there was a museum nearby. I asked them, confident in my English-speaking abilities, and they answered, but not in the same language as I had questioned. I was in shock. Everything I knew about English was suddenly in limbo. I started asking others, hoping for in intelligible answer, but everybody I asked answered in a language unknown to me.

What had happened? Either these people were speaking the wrong language or I had been taught the wrong language. I came to the conclusion that there is no way people in their own country would not speak the wrong language, so Rosetta Stone is to blame!

Whatever this language is I have learned, it is not the language of America. Had Rosetta Stone properly taught me authentic English and not this completely unrelated language, I might have been able to immerse myself in wonderful American culture. The only thing I can do with this language is express to you on this site how much this product has let me down.
