we bought a couple of these coloring books for our girls for Christmas. They both have enjoyed designing the dresses and drawing the people. I would definitely by more from the Rosie Flo line.

All the Rosie Flo books are terrific, but my daughter and I especially love this one. The line drawings are so creative and artistic -- the way she incorporates animal scales, feathers, etc. into fancy dresses and costumes is just beautiful. My daughter loved coloring them in at 5 and still does at 7. I've enjoyed it myself all along! Makes great birthday gifts along with a pack of colored pencils or crayons.

This is the right coloring book for your child ages 5+ if he or she will sit and fill in the small, detailed drawings for longer periods of time. Do not order for your child if you cannot handle the petite, ladylike outlines to be scribbled on by undiscerning artists. (For you OCD parents out there haha.) We have several coloring books and my girls ask for me to "reorder" these coloring books to "re-do" now that they are older. (They looked back and wished they didn't color out of the lines so much, but like I said, the drawings are small.)

This coloring book is part of a series and I have bought all of them for my nieces. They are a switch up on a typical coloring book in that the child actually draws the faces and arms & legs. The books are also printed on lovely art quality paper. Truly, I would love these for myself :) They are that cool.
