Clever and witty read, January 16, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Rosie Meadows Regrets (Paperback)
Filled to the brim with lifelike characters you want to slap, hug or just laugh at -- this Brit humour is the perfect curled-up-on-the-sofa read. The authors use of Brit slang and clever banter between the characters livens the book up, yet there are enough emotional moments to steady the plot.
Rosie Meadows is a superb character that almost any women can relate too and I garantee within pages you will be cheering for her (and many times cringing too!) All in all a great fic read.

Rosie Meadows Regrets, December 2, 2010
This review is from: Rosie Meadows Regrets (Paperback)
Rosie Meadows is married to a man who fancies himself one of England's idle wealthy. He spends his time at the club with his obnoxious friends drinking the day away instead of spending time with his wife and son. Rosie is fed up and soon realizes that it's time to make a break and leave him. What she doesn't count on are all of the unpredictable consequences of this decision.
As usual, Catherine Alliott has created a chick lit novel that goes deeper and has a fantastic plot as well as characters the reader genuinely feels for. A great read for a lazy winter weekend!
