Truly excellent. The markings are stamped inside the jigger (I cannot figure how) in both english and metric then the outside is milled smooth. Very substantial, classy and easy to use.A noticeable upgrade from the one I lost.

This is well made and polished, so you'll have to work to keep it clean. This is the one to have out on display. It has room to spare at the top, so spilling isn't much of an issue. We also have the OXO jigger that has a rubber grip, so it doesn't show spots, but it spills easier.

RÖSLE's quality bar gear.,
This review is from: Rosle Bar Measure (Kitchen)
A well designed bar item from RÖSLE which matches the rest of their bar items. There are fluid measurement ridges inside the body. A fine posh addition to any home bar.

Beware - made in China,
This review is from: Rosle Bar Measure (Kitchen)
Beware that this is made in China, not in Germany as the price and description would lead you to believe.

German price for Chinese product,

I paid a premium price for this product which is described as being "Designed and engineered in Germany". Yes, it's a nice product as you would expect from Rosle, but it was only when I received the box that I found out that it was made in China and not Germany. I suppose this doesn't really make any difference, but I can't help feeling that I paid a huge premium for having someone in China stamp "Rosle" on this. And how much special effort is required to "engineer" a jigger, anyway? Eventually even the Chinese will be able to figure out how to do that without German assistance. |
