Rosseto Liteware tiny dishes - clear
The misleading title of "plate" is what throws you a curve! I made the same mistake, but, being a 'Pollyanna' I made lemonade. I used them for individual pats of butter at each setting. It saves a lot that "please pass me the butter" at the crowded Thanksgiving table. I'm sure I'll come up with other uses like tiny deserts (I make little cheesecakes) or maybe a...

Micro plates.
The picture in the product description make these plates look like they would hold a good size scoop of food along with a garnish...in reality they are about one and a half inches in diameter and only hold about three peas...perhaps one melon ball. Very deceptive advertising; I'm glad Amazon has such a good return policy.

I used them for individual pats of butter at each setting. It saves a lot that "please pass me the butter" at the crowded Thanksgiving table. I'm sure I'll come up with other uses like tiny deserts (I make little cheesecakes) or maybe a sauce or other condiment. Just be sure to NOTE the SIZE of things when you order something. |
