Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com
It's been said that every report about the 1947 Roswell incident should be taken with a grain of salt. With that in mind, The Roswell Report: Case Closed is a key ingredient for Roswell fanatics and conspiracy theorists alike.

This DVD attempts to disprove the U.S. Air Force's explanation of the crash by using the exact film clips that provided "proof" that the sightings were simply high-altitude experiments using crash test dummies. There is brief narration to accompany the images in this short (31-minute) exposition of the governmental "cover-up" of the crash, but the sights alone make for interesting viewing. Department of Defense footage shows the weather balloons, test dummies, and satellites that, according to their reports, were what confused folks into believing that they saw aliens and otherworldly spacecraft. The most amazing footage, however, comes from the Man High project and an incredible view of a 14-mile free fall from almost 102,000 feet.

Whether or not anything actually happened at Roswell in 1947 is left up to the viewer to decide, but The Roswell Report provides plenty of speculation and rumor as food for thought. --Zachary Lively

Product Description
Never before has the United States Air Force addressed the question of alien bodies at the Roswell, New Mexico alien crash site. Not until June 24, 1997. "Roswell Report" presents the government's declassified material, available for the first time to the American public. Did alien beings visit Earth? Decide for yourself.

2.0 out of 5 stars Roswell: Case Not Totally Closed., September 25, 1999
By A Customer
Okay, let's say it was a bunch of dummies which were mistaken for living, breathing, fleshy, alien corpses. Let's say that the nurse at the hospital who drew sketches of strange beings actually saw dummies. Then why has the government made such hoopla over this case for 50 years? I mean, why have they kept on changing story after story when they could have simply stated: "Look, it wasn't a UFO and the bodies weren't aliens. It was this and they were really this." I'm not a firm believer in the existance of extraterrestrial life, but I'm certain something did happen at Roswell and we still don't know what.

1.0 out of 5 stars 31 minutes poor production, August 12, 2004
There is a minimun of production on this 31 minutes tape. It does not reveal anything interesting to the topic. This was so far the worst documentary I have ever seen. It was boring to watch this, and it does not prove anything. It only shows again some poor footage that the goverment provided. Quite expensive for such poor production

5.0 out of 5 stars Case Closed- Mass "Conspiracy" hysteria, November 19, 1999
The government did not make a big deal about Roswell. UFO "researchers" [and I use the word loosely]brought forward unsubstantiated stories from witnesses 40 years after the fact. Witnesses can't accurately recall what happened 15 minutes ago but we're expected to believe people 40 and 50 years later! Because of the speculation, the Air Force did a thorough research job [unlike Randle and those others] and found that the actual "crash" was debris from a downed weather balloon from a top secret project at nearby White Sands. This caused the initial controversy as the Air Force couldn't then reveal this. Then the witnesses confused other events and instances under encouragement from the UFO cult. This tape explains this.
