I spent over $100 for this product at Lowes at now only 2 yrs later it will not turn! I wrote an email to the manufacturer, Gemmy and here is what they said:

Thank you for your interest in Gemmy products! I am sorry your product is not functioning properly. As the item was purchased two years ago I am unable to offer you a repair or replacement. Unfortunately we do not have replacement parts that involve the internal electric and mechanic functions of items nor do we have schematics or wire diagrams. If all connections are made properly, the adapter has been tested and is putting out enough power and the item is still not functioning you may try contacting an electronic repair center in your area for suggestions or service.

Good Morning:

I bought the xmas ferris wheel at Lowes only 2 yrs ago and I put it up this year after being in my basement on a warm day and the wheel does not turn. It turns on and clicks like it wants to move but continues to click and remain still. I sent an email last week from your website and have not heard anything and spoke with the receptionist who gave me your direct email. Please respond with instructions or exchange or refund as soon as possible, I am very upset about this expensive decoration that is not very old at all. Thank you for your time and help.

This product was very easy to assemble and it is so cute. All the neighbors on the block couldn't stop admiring it. I would recommend this highly.

Same problem as others have...quit working after one year of use. Quit turning and then the spindle inside cracked and broke during second year. Really nice looking but too expensive for only one year of use.

Well at least I'm not the only one suffering with this piece of junk. Mine also is two years old, but it stopped turning the first year I bought it. I tried replacing the belt inside, but that didn't help. It basically has an underpowered motor in it. Don't waste your time with this thing.

I've had All the same problems with this ferris wheel as others. But I found out it was my fault! The clicking of a broken motor happens when it is spun while handling. If you spin the wheel you dislodge the mechanism. I was lucky enough to have Home depot in Long Island replace the entire set when this happened to me two years ago. The only problem now is I moved to Florida and lost the electrical adapter!
