I purchased this cutter to trim large photos before taking them to my dry-mount press. This is a very precise trimmer. I can literally shave what seems like a hundreth of an inch off of an edge. There is no comparison with my knife trimmer (you know... the old guillotine type trimmer) I only wished I got the 36" instead of the 24" This trimmer is designed to cut only in 1 direction because of a metal guard but that is an easy change. Once you look at how the rotary blade works you can see how to modify that. I choose to keep it factory.

Rotatrim Professional cutters deliver consistant reliable cuts year after year. Couldn't get by without it. A requirement for any avid photographer or pro. Worth the extra money.

I use trimmers in my profession often and have attempted many different brands and types in the past. I must say, this is probably the best model out there. It never dulls, cut super straight, and cuts cleanly.

After trying every kind of paper cutter out there including straight edge and Exacto knife, this one wins for accuracy and it's ability to handle heavy stock. It cuts Hahnemuhle 308 watercolor paper with ease. No complaints.

This is a great product. It makes final product processing truly a joy. It is a bit expensive but worth every penny. I can cut pictures and get them framed so quickly people are asking me for more! CLEARLY WORTH THE MONEY. I AM A HIGH END AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHER.

I have used a small roto trim for at least 16 years and it is still going strong. But I needed a bigger trimmer for bigger projects and so it was not difficult for me to decide on the larger 24-inch cutter. It is far superior over other type of cutters. And with some research on the net I was able to buy this unit new at a large discount.

I have read good reviews about this cutter, not only on Amazon but also on other photography sites. I was initially reluctant to buy it because of its $305 price. But just lately the price in Amazon dropped to $255 so I placed the order instantly. The cutter was received 4 days later with free-shipping. First feeling out-of-box is it's very solid construction. It's made in England. My test cutting on several types of photo paper was totally a pleasure. I then tried to cut a piece of Epson Enhanced Matte Poster Board. This board has thickness of 1.5mm. The cutting was again easy and perfect... What a piece of "fine-art" equipment, highly recommended!

Solid design and construction. Fabulous self-sharpening blade. Sturdy, reliable accurate cuts. Will never buy another brand of paper cutter again. May never need to buy another paper cutter again either.

I love this paper cutter. Once I figured out you can only go in one direction..duh. Very clean cuts, easy to read grid.
