i really like this jacket it looks great. nice and warm. good for work or play.

Read the reviews before purchasing and decided this was the one. Was surprised by just how nice this jacket really is and I will be ordering more in the future for our powered paragling club so we can put our logo on it! Turn it inside out and it's safety orange on the inside just in case we happen to have an engine out and could be easily spotted walking out. You can wear this jacket in a Restaurant to take the chill away or outside in 30dg weather. The flaps for the front pockets are an absolute non-issue, just fold them right inside of the pocket for easy access. LOVE IT!!

Handsome, extremely light and extremely warm nylon flight jacket. Orange reversible lining should you ever get lost in a blizzard or stuck on the highway at night, may come in handy. Heavy duty double sided zipper. Deep snap flap pockets. This is a handsome, rugged, multipurpose coat. The price is extremely reasonable. You're getting a lot more coat then you're paying for. Before you drop $500 on a Buzz Rickson MA-1, get one of these.

I chose this because it was the only MA-1 I could get in a tall size. I was more than pleasantly surprised when I opened it and saw the quality and durability of the jacket. Just because I'm from Tucson don't get the impression that this isn't a warm jacket, I like several thousand feet above Tucson and deal with some pretty chilly mornings, the jacket is warmer than it may appear and easily would have been warm enough for life in Denver's winters (I lived through 26 of them) and ok for all but the coldest of Minneapolis' winter days (I went through 18 Minnesota winters). Besides being functional it actually looks great. I feel like Errol Flynn when I wear it. :)

Very nice jacket for the price. Sure you can get better quality from Buzz Rickson for a TON more money, but I liked this one better than the $90 Alpha Industries one I tried.

Upon delivery I found the jacket to be just what I was looking for. The styling is very comparable to others in it's category.
The shell seems to be sturdy enough for everyday use and the lining is warmer than I had first thought. I say this because the
jacket has a lighter feel to me than the others that I have tried. If a lighter feel is what you are looking for than I would suggest going with this jacket. The zipper is nice and robust and it fits well. The only con to this jacket that I can tell is that the snaps leave a bit to be desired. They seem cheap and do not snap with a confident snap. Even if they receive the slightest
resistance they will come undone. Other than that it seems to be a good buy.

Great Jacket, Warm, True to size. Not crazy about the flaps on the pockets. Would recommend if flaps on pockets aren't a big deal to you, but if I need to purchase another one I will probably look for one without the flaps.

I actually really enjoy this jacket. The first thing I'd like to mention is that it's VERY WARM. It being April now, it's hard for me to wear this in the daytime and not break a sweat... I definitely underestimated the insulation.

On a second note, this jacket WILL melt when exposed to high temperatures (ie, lighters, and irons). So if you plan on putting patches on this jacket, make sure to put a cloth over the patch before ironing.

With that said, it's a great, CHEAP, and warm jacket for the price, I'd recommend it to anyone.
