It's extremely difficult to find these shirt stays anywhere. This was the only site I was able to find them on. Shipping was prompt and I had no problems ordering, however they broke after only a few wears. My husband uses these on a regular basis and he's gone through 4 of them already. One strap broke the first time he put them on. They have good service, but the product doesn't hold up to everyday use.

First of all, these are way too short to go from your sock to your shirt unless you are under 5 feet tall. I'm 5'10", and I had to pull out all of the slack to get them to reach my sock. Second, the little black rubber tabs that go through the metal ring are thin and poorly designed. They fold themselves in half and slip through the ring under the least amount of tension, and detach from the fabric. The first day I wore them, I had to excuse myself to the restroom multiple times to reattach everything. Eventually, I gave up and put on my old, worn out shirt stays for the rest of my shift. If you're looking for a good pair of shirt stays, get the ones made by Vanguard. They will last for years, and they are cheaper!

Kind of touchy to get clipped on and broke in several weeks of daily use. Would not buy again.

I own these shirt stays in the white color and I hate them.

They're great when they work correctly, but they are a very bad design. The clips do not stay clipped unless you really jam the fabric up under the loop, and even then they don't always stay where you want them. I have also found that they stretch out over a relatively short period of time (but then again, they are only $5 for a set). You get what you pay for. There's nothing quite like feeling squared away only to be walking down the hall or talking to someone important and have your shirt stay pop off and fall out the leg of your trousers.

I recommend either the hidden tailor or finding another brand of shirt stay that uses a real clip rather than just a rubber/metal loop design that relies entirely on friction and constant tension.

After 30 minutes of wearing these I got my first nut check from one in front that snapped off. I went straight to the restroom at work and took them off.

i'VE BEEN IN LAW ENFORCEMENT OVER TEN YEARS & HAVE BEEN WEARING SHIRT STAYS JUST AS LONG. I'VE WORN THESE SAME TYPES OF STAYS MY WHOLE CAREER & HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM UNTIL THE LAST 2 SETS I'VE PURCHASED INSIDE OF 1 YEAR. I'M GUESSING THAT THEY'RE MAKING THEM WITH CHEAPER MATERIAL & OR MAKING THEM SHORTER. I'M 6'4" & I'VE TRIED THEM EVEN WITH PENNIES AS ANCORS & THEY STILL SNAP LOOSE. I'M ACTUALLY THINKING OF HAVING MY OWN MADE BECAUSE I HATE LOOKING SLOPPY. AGAIN, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY UNLESS YOUR WELL UNDER 6' TALL. GOOD LUCK!

I like them fairly well. They are significantly superior to the other brand of shirt stays that Amazon sells.
First, I dont know what these other posters are talking about - I'm 6'2" and they work just fine with minimal adjustment. They're long enough. I wear a uniform shirt of regular length and crew socks. No problem. They are a little difficult to clasp but they stay put. I've had no problem with them falling off once pressure is pulled to them.
I also like them more than the other brand because they dont fall apart quickly. The others - the stiching would fall out after being sweated on, the rubber thing would tear out, they slipped off the shirt. etc.
I recommend these. Also, I wear them five days a week, 10 hours a day in uniform.
edit
I must clarify. The picture shows all black shirt stays... those are made by Rothco. Rothco's shirt stays are inferior to the silver clasp shirt stays made by Jackster... even though the advertisement is for Jackster brand stays the picture shows Rothco's. Hope that's not too confusing.
Amazon has sent me before the all black ones and I returned them and specified that I wanted Jackster. They sent me the silver ones in return. If this happens to you, I suggest you do the same.
another edit----
Amazon fixed the advertisement. They now show Rothco stays in the picture and made by Rothco in the ad. I do not recommend these. If Amazon doesn't sell Jackster brand anymore, I'll buy them from a military surplus store online.

I've worn garters since my days in the Air Force. These are the first I've bought that were soooo short. I mean really, who are these made for -- cub scouts?? Don't waste your time or your money, unless your under 5'5" these gaters are not for you.
