I wanted a smaller bag that my iPad would fit in without a ton of extra room. This fits the bill. There is an inner pocket in the bag that the iPad and its case fits in perfectly. Back of this is rigid, which is also nice. Main compartment has room for small books. There is also a small front pocket that would be good to hold smaller items like a cell phone or wallet. Be warned, strap is a little thin, there is no padding and this case is just 8 1/2" wide x 11" long, you will NOT fit a text book, spiral bound notebook or three ring binder in there. It would be more versatile if it was an inch bigger all around. If you just want a small bag to carry around an iPad, netbook, or an ebook reader and a few extras, this is great. If you want to carry anything bigger, keep looking.
