very nice knife, especially for 17 bucks. cant beat it. dont let the picture fool you though, its hard to see. i thought it was gonna be a double edge knife, but it isnt. its got one side. still great though, easy to cary, stays in the hard plastic sheath. Anything more would be to big. it comes with a chain to put through the hole at the butt i guess, if you wanna carry it under your neck or somewhere else. pretty damn sharp. nice coated finish, reminds me of my Ka-Bar.

Great knife for the price, I've purchased a few different boot knives to send to friends in A-stan and Iraq. Only complaint was that this one is false edge and it is easy to mistake it for the double edged variety. Very durable knife and it comes with a great sheath.

This is an excellent, single edge, small knife with an easy to use sheath. Not that many years ago, the steel this is made from, 440C, was a premium choice for custom knife makers, and is still highly regarded, leaving many other stainless steels in the dust when it comes to performance; it takes and holds a shaving sharp edge; it will cut nylon rope cleanly all day. The formed sheath will hold firmly on a belt, in a pocket, or on a boot. The entire package is quite light, and the rubbery handle provides a solid, non-slip grip. Another winner from S & W.

Cheap plastic sheath, cheap rubber handle, cheap metal blade. Reading the other reviews I thought this was going to be an alright knife, but I guess the other reviewers were on crack or something... Is it a good knife for the price? Eh, not quite. I'm surprised S&W put their name on this thing. It is only single sided, but that is what I wanted, double sided knifes are illegal in my state, that is the only thing that attracted me to this knife.

I was pretty disappointed when I got this item. The look, feel and balance were great, until the first time I dropped it. It landed on a magazine and the tip of the blade folded over. I had to use a grinder to try to straighten it out. DOn't expect much, but you're not going to pay much either.

I like the size and ergonomics of this blade. I hope that the rubber handle stays in good shape over time. Easy to mount on pack shoulder straps.

I bought this knife to use. It was cheap so if it gets destroyed it's no big deal. The first thing I'll have to do is sharpen it. It's really dull out of the box. You get what you pay for I guess.

Wear this knife everyday in my boot. I like the knife, but the sheath could use a little help. Had to refasten the clip a few times. Holds a good edge. A little work on the sheath, and it will last a good while.

sweet boot knife i use for all utility purposes. very solid and durable. even though i conceal it's great to have cuz i glock cant cut string!
