I have owned and used several others compasses. Each was decent enough in their application.

The military tritium compass is a proven high quality item that surpasses any of the others I have used. It is very rugged and durable since it is made for the military. Quite easy to use and great in low light/night conditions.

Unless I loose it, this will be the last compass I will need.
The only improvement would be to make the numbers and increments larger for easier sighting. It is somewhat expensive, but you usually get what you pay for,quality is quality.
