Within a week, 2 zippers broke (not came off, the metal broke) another one is falling apart, and the stitching is pulling out, I cant believe how badly this is made.

I'll admit, I bought this specifically to serve as my "man purse."

After having my Kindle for a couple of months I realized that I often wished I had a small day-bag to carry the Kindle in when going about my daily business. Although I do have a large messenger bag, I usually only use that on occasions when I need to leave my house carrying my laptop with me; using it to only carry the Kindle, without my laptop, seemed like overkill.

So I searched and searched online and finally came across this bag. It's wonderful. Not only does my Kindle (in its Marware cover) fit snugly inside it, but the bag has so many pockets and slots that I'm able to carry a bunch of other stuff with me as well. (No wonder women love purses!) Moreover, its design, with its olive-green, military surplus look means that it is not at all feminine. A guy can carry this slung bandoleer-style across his chest without it looking "weird."

It's made of durable canvas and so I suspect that as long as I treat it well it'll last me for years.

This is a nifty little bag for an amazingly small amount of money. But there's one major design flaw. The bag has one enclosed compartment and another compartment that is created by closing a velcro strap that closes the front flap to the main body of the bag. The inside flap and outside of the main compartment contain most of the organizing compartments, including the ones for your credit cards. When you close the flap and affix the velcro strap there's a large gap that leaves your credit cards exposed.

The quality of this product is extremely poor - then again, what is expected when its value is so cheap. We took it on our vacation to Germany and it lasted one week. The outside material seems durable enough (canvas) but the lining is of a very cheap plastic. Within a week the lining, which is either stitched or glued, had come undone and we stood to lose our passports (yikes!); good thing I noticed. I would not recommend this product. Also, it is not too practical to constantly undo the front buckle to get at what you want. Hope this review helps.

A Nice Little Tote for Your Nook...

The Problem:
I like to go for a walk, stop at a local coffee shop or bakery to read for a spell, and then continue walking on home. The problem was finding a small tote bag in which to conveniently (and SAFELY) carry my Nook eReader while walking.

Stopped in at my local B&N brick and mortar place: They had some very nice, humungous, canvas tote bags; but these were really too big just to carry my Nook on a casual stroll. I needed something smaller.

The Solution:
The Rothco Venturer Travel Porfolio Bag, available from Amazon.com, proved to be an excellent solution. My Nook, in its Chesterton cover, fits snuggly and securely (the phrase, `like a glove' comes to mind) in the main compartment of this tote, and the shoulder strap makes for convenient, hands-free, drop-free carrying.

There's also room for your driver's license, credit cards, sunglasses, pen and a pad.

Happy eReading.

My I.D. and credit cards do not fit into the slots as shown. The slots are stitched too small and I couldn't wedge any of my cards into the slots, making the bag unusable for my purposes. In addition, there is no zipper closure for the main compartment, which could allow items to fall out if the bag gets turned upside down.

Huge Plus, you can take off the shoulder strap part and put your belt through the strap on the back of it and use it as a large belt pouch.

Alternatively as a large belt pouch you can put ammo in it for airsoft or paintball and have it ready at your hip.

Yes I know most reviewing on here were using it as a man purse but it definitely works well as a small purse/belt pouch for women to. I've worn it as a belt pouch for added security on my hip and I like urban edge it gives my look. It's practical and durable.
