The 2325 Venturer travel portfolio bag from Rothco is the ultimate traveling companion. It is constructed of heavy cotton canvas with a nylon lining. The large main compartment measures 8-1/2" X 5-1/2" and also has small and large zippered outside pockets. There are compartments and slots to hold credit cards, travel documents, maps, etc., as well as hidden map and document holders, a pencil pouch, jumbo pencil pouch and a zippered waterproof inner pocket.

The quality of this product is extremely poor - then again, what is expected when its value is so cheap. We took it on our vacation to Germany and it lasted one week. The outside material seems durable enough (canvas) but the lining is of a very cheap plastic. Within a week the lining, which is either stitched or glued, had come undone and we stood to lose our passports (yikes!); good thing I noticed. I would not recommend this product. Also, it is not too practical to constantly undo the front buckle to get at what you want. Hope this review helps.

This bag is everything it claims to be. Fully functional, with more than enough pockets to meet my needs, including several credit card/identification slots, and zippered space for change. No need to carry a wallet with this bag. I feel confident that my cards or monies are completely secured. Strap is adjustable and can go from a carrying handle, to a shoulder strap or an across-the-body strap with ease. Perfect for traveling, without the "geeky" fanny bag look. If you're looking for a durable bag that you can feel confident will keep your items secure, yet, a non-combersome, comfortable fit, this is it!

The bag has lots of awesome slots, pockets, flaps and zippers. However, what we thought were credit card/ID slots aren't big enough to hold a credit card, so we had to put the credit cards in a different pocket. Also, the inner lining started to rip after about 10 days in Europe.

Finally, my camera's memory card became unreadable and the photo-store salesman said magnetic credit card stripes can zap the memory-card chip. I'm not sure if this is true, and it's not the bag's fault by any means, but you might not want to put your camera in this bag with a credit card.
