"A Rotisserie league establishes a connection between the Rotisserie manager and the baseball game." So says statistical guru Bill James in his introduction to Rotisserie League Baseball 1999, a valuable resource for fantasy baseball players. The book provides scouting reports on 1999 major-league players (with recent stats and salary guidelines), a discussion on expansion's impact on Rotisserie baseball, and picks for the top 100 farm prospects. Best, though, is the section on creating and managing your own team, with advice on scouting and winning and strategies for draft day. The book also includes the "Official Constitution of Rotisserie League Baseball" and ground rules for both "Rotisserie Ultra" and "Rotisserie Lite." --Andy Boynton
