A Solid Tool January 7, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase
Arrived on time, everything as advertised, works great. This is an 'intense' tool that really 'rips' (it's not for the faint at heart). Accessories are expensive, though. Note that it creates a TREMENDOUS amount of dust. I made the mistake of cutting through tile and grout around a kitchen sink (a small job) without completely blocking off the area...the dust travelled into every nook and cranny througout the house, even into the back rooms! (I got into big trouble from the wife for that one.) Other than that, it's a tool I'm happy to have.

RotoZip RZ2000-52 120-Volt Variable Speed Spiral Saw Kit

I've purchased lots of tools and have worked as a handyman and Rotozip is the most disappointing tool I've ever purchased. Great for cutting plaster board and ceiling tile circles and box outlets but other cutting attachment just don't measure up. I burned up $30 flush mount saw blade because it hit a nail which is a real world event. Tile saw blade and motor power not as good as a 4 inch grinder and saw blades are a lot cheaper for the grinder. Saber saw attachment doesn't work nearly as well as dedicated Saber saw and rotary bits dulls fast and are expensive. Tried rotary tile bit and it broke with first use. No luck cutting metal with metal rotary bit, not as good as a Saber saw with metal cutting blade which is a lot cheaper.

can't get spare parts February 19, 2011
this tool was a quality made tool but i lost the pinion gear and when I contacted them I was informed they don't make replacement parts any more. So if you buy from this company don't lose or break anything
