This pencil is fairly heavy and metallic with most of the weight at the top. The finish is an unusual textured paint that is easy to grip though not pleasant feeling. An eraser is included. The lead does not wobble and the advance mechanism works well. The writing head can be retracted entirely - which is a nice feature. Good pen if you like the texture of the body.

I love these pencils. They balance well in my hand, and write beautifully. Unlike most mechanical pencils, the entire mechanism retracts and eliminates the risk of accidentally taking a core sample of your flesh when you carry the pencil in a pocket. The mechanism is pressure sensitive - push hard on the lead when you write causes the mechanism to retract slightly. Not much, just enough to stop the lead from breaking.

All in all I'm trying to buy as many of these discontinued items as I can before stocks run out.
