4.0 out of 5 stars Welcome to our Peyton place!, October 22, 2003
By A Customer
I did not grow up in Mansfield, OH, but have lived there for a few years and was absolutely fascinated by this book! He names names and gives all the juicy details, which made this book a fascinating read - hard to put it down once I picked it up. Though all of the events in the book happened several years ago, some of the people named in the book are still prominent in the community and many of the places are still the same - this made the story that much more fascinating. The book reads like a good detective story. Whether or not the facts as presented in the book are accurate is still a topic of local debate, but true or not, it was a great story.

4.0 out of 5 stars Yant lays it out, March 29, 2003
By A Customer
Yant takes a hard look at a mid-sized city with metropolis sized corruption, leaving no stone unturned. Yant should be commended for his courage. Convinced your home town is as pure as the driven snow? Read this, then take a look around you. You, like Yant, might be surprised at what you see. Excellent content.
