Small enough to tote along as you explore Florence. All text and diagrams of key monuments and venues. Adequate info on lodging and eateries. This was the primary guidebook we used on a recent trip to Florence - along with the indispensable Rough Guides map - supplemented by a few photocopied pages from other sources.

Save the pictures for postcards (and your own photos). This all-text guide is very informative, with a particularly helpful hotel section. For example, only hotels that are relatively close to the sights, but free of Florence's (Firenze's) traffic noise are listed.Use it! |
