I bought this book after I had purchased my first flute. For a mere $10.95 I recieved a wealth of information I had never imagined when with the flute. I learned what to look for when buying a student, intermediate and professional flute. I learned how to find private lessons, where to go, and how to go about buying a used instrument. I learned the pros and cons of solid silver, gold and silver plated instruments. I learned the difference between offset and inline G and other features that are on the flute (and piccolo).

What I think I liked best of all, however, is the prices. This book gives you average and reasonable prices for just about every accessory and add on to your flute or piccolo.

This book is definately worth it's weight in gold.
