An excellent assortment of merengue tunes from the top artists in the genre. It's impossible to resist tapping your foot if not breaking into all out dancing. Great song selection and production. Highly recommended!

I used a selection from the Rough Guide to Merengue for the father-daughter dance at my daughter's wedding. Afterwards, the DJ returned all of our personal CDs except for Rough Guide to Merengue. I enjoy it so much that I bought a second copy. Now I play it at home to dance with my wife. We both took Merengue dancing lessons and found most of the selections danceable for us as beginners.
