Have you been impulsively buying rough guides to music here and there for years and been vaguely disappointed again and again? I know the feeling. Most of the rough guides to music are undistinguished, selecting songs the way on might choose tourist locations--either the obvious (you are in Paris--you should go see the Eiffel tower) or banal (you are in Paris--here's a croissant!!!).This one is the exception, prehaps because the music of SA is so very good. There is only one bad track on it, hey i'm too lazy to get up and look at the CD, but its there, and the rest range from outstanding to phenomenal. I know this is a lazy review, but no one else has pointed out this is one of the most enjoyable anthologies existing for some of the most mellow music on the planet--varied, interesting, and soothing--so i took it upon myself to do so.

I am satisfied with this product!I like the songs and the quality. The service was pretty quick and I am able to give my students a taste of my Southern African people's music! EXCELLENT!
