Good travel guide
This is a good travel guide - very similar to the Lonely Planet one. Few pictures but the ones they have are very beautiful. The layout of the chapter on Kathmadu is a little confusing because they divide the city into sections and have all the hotels and restaurants in these sections (which are sometimes only a 5 minute walk from one another)...so you can't just look...

Kindle conversion needs work
Helpful guide, and I appreciate the quirky Brit humor. But the maps and diagrams are low resolution thumbnails that cannot be meaningfully expanded, leaving them unreadable. Make the maps higher resolution and you'll have a winner, but as is, I feel like my money was largely wasted on the Kindle version.

All in all though - seems to be a helpful tool. When I return I will update this review and let you know if the info in the book actually corresponds to real life! |
