What a sturdy map that can really take a beating. More importantly, it's easy to read and travels/refolds well. If you've never driven in Portugal, you're in for a treat. Consider yourself warned. This map will be invaluable as you get lost over and over again, wondering where the sign was before you hit the roundabout. This map is comprehensive and easy to follow.

This was my main map for the 2 1/2 weeks I spent in Portugal in September, and it was great. It doesn't tear and can take a beating. It was up to date, and I was able to find all the roads I needed outside of cities. This map will not help you out driving through downtown Lisbon or Porto, or any other city or village. But I found if I supplimented this with the more detailed maps from my guidebooks for villages or cities, or google maps, it had everything I needed to get from one place to another and see all the sites.
