This is one of the best resourceful guide to the USA : almost exhaustive, well researched & most reliable information. The guide has as a start an outline map of USA, indicating the 50 different states as to where each is located including main cities, then zooming in into local areas/towns/cities (areas of interest) : The guide will indicate how to arrive there (transport including air travel, trains & buses, etc), how to get around, restaurants including some important contact numbers for bookings etc, hotel accomodation with estimated prices & quality/standard of services rendered, local cuisine, areas of interest including museums etc in the area and surrounding areas, history of the area/city/town including how it was founded & by whom, economic activities of the area in the past & now, tourist information center in the area, the weather of the area during the whole year (with estimated temperatures, rainfall, etc). This new/updated edition 9 also includes "must-see" places in the USA as well as hiking/ walking trails guidance. On overall this guide is very resourceful, well researched, very reliable, well written & very well illustrated! A highly recommended tool to help you navigate & appreciate the wonderful country that is the USA!
