This is my first experience with the Rough Guide series and I am overwhelmingly pleased. The Costa Brava is usually "added" to guides on Barcelona and is given very little space in guides to Spain. This is a jewel...concise, informative, covers the smaller places that other guides do not mention. Very nicely done little book - it's definitely going to be one of the "chosen few" that we take with us on our trip to Costa Brava and Barcelona this Fall.

My review needs to be taken with a grain of salt because although I did go to Spain we did not go to the Costa Brava.
But, that being said I am an avid traveler and this is a great little resource that seems to capture the feeling of each quaint little town on the costa brava. Beautiful color photographs will surely inspire as well as a wealth of historical information. This guide is very good about reaching out to all different travelers; including extensive information about gourmet restaurants, outdoor adventure spots , cheaper traveling options, and historical/cultural opportunities.
