Traditional gospel fans will be delighted with this album. Rev. Barnes and Ms. Brown perform with such feeling that the listener can't help but be inspired. These two embody all that is exhilirating in gospel music. I was moved and held in rapture. You will NOT be disappointed!

I'll admit to being an adult when "Rough Side of the Mountain" was a secular hit - it was memories of its radio play that caused me to buy the CD. The CD offers more cuts of the same high quality - a superb call-and-response teamwork between Barnes and Brown; a personalization of "I'll Be Alright" that places the music directly into the gospel as personal witness genre; a stunning version of "Never Alone" that stands among the best recordings of this classic ...

THE MUSIC GOES STRAIGHT TO THE HEART AND DEALS WITH OUR HURTS,JOYS,OUR DOUBTS, AND WITH THE MESSAGES IN THE SONGS BRINGS EVERY THING BACK INTO PERSPECTIVE, AND OUR EYES BACK ON CHRIST!!! I KNOW THAT THIS MUSIC WILL TAKE US TO THE PLACE WE ALL NEED TO BE,UNDER THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
