Best smooth book!
The Rough and the Smooth Collie are given equal status in this superbly illustrated book. Both are covered from puppy selection to training, grooming, showing, breeding, health care, and working abilities. photos / 1993 / UK

Good reference, but needs color pix
This is a good reference, with lots of photos (unfortunately all black & white) as well as info about coat colors and conformation. It focuses a lot on bloodlines and champions, which is of more interest to the breed/show crowd than it is to me as a pet owner.

I have not had a chance to finish this book yet, however I was disippointed in the fact that there were no color pictures in the book other than on the front cover especially when there was a chapter on Color.
