3.0 out of 5 stars Descriptive, Raw and a Page-Turner
Dominic Arrow has a way of writing to keep your attention from beginning to end. The book is pure unadulterated fun. A great read when you're bored with the traditional day-to-day issues of life. His discriptive steamy scenes will make your heart race and wish for more!

This review is from: Rough with the Smooth (Idol Series) (Paperback)
Graduate Jonathan Carey works with unemployed young men in a drop in centre, a result of an initative of his own, in North London. The young men are boisterous and adventurous, and gradually explore activities amongst themselves which begin to raise questions with the Local Council. Jonathan, who has just come out of a long term relationship with another man, finds himself attracted to one sullen wayward boyish young man, Stewart, who gets himself involved with a local gang.
This is basically a very tender love story, interspersed with plenty of erotic sex including several seductions, an attempted prison rape, and an initiation ceremony. Sometimes the sexual activity seems out of place, and there is a little preaching about safe sex, but it is well handled, and what comes through is the genuine companionship and camaraderie of the young men, and the awakening love between the two main characters.
