save yourself 10 bucks and instead use it for a couple extra roulette spins. The game is not beatable long term unless the odds somehow turns in the players favor (biased wheel, etc). The title of the book is deceiving because it tells you how to walk out a winner when the back of the book states that there is no such things a "professional roulette" player. You can learn all you need to about the game through a google search.

"ROULETTE FOR THE WEEKEND GAMBLER", by J. R. Miller, is a small, inexpensive little book that gives one all the basics, in an easy-to-understand and readable format. I have been praciting roulette, myself, since 1978, (when the casinos first opened in Atlantic City, New Jersey), and it answered a question for me, the answer to which I had not perceived in all this time: Is it better to build up bets slowly, or to add money faster? The answer, (echoed by a cousin of mine in Montreal), is given here. As is a nifty little method for playing roulette WITHOUT a roulette wheel!
AMAZON.COM is offering this book in combination with another favourite roulette book of mine, (actually, my own No. 1 favourite...and I think the Amazon sales show it at, or near the top, of roulette books, as well) -- GAMBLE TO WIN: ROULETTE, by R.D. Ellison. (Also, I must shamlessly admit, reviewed by me for Amazon.) Read these two books, and you will know ALL there is to know about (winning at!)roulette! ROULETTE FOR THE WEELEND GAMBLER gives you the basics....and also the Pace at which you should increase your bets. GAMBLE TO WIN: ROULETTE shows you some advanced Methods by which to win. Read these books! Go to the casino and stop while you are ahead. Then -- if you want to win at other games -- read the works of FRANK SCOBLETE and JOHN GOLLEHON. But for a basic roulette book, you can't go wrong with ROULETTE FOR THE WEEKEND GAMBLER, by J.R. MILLER! $ : )

A good read before you lose your money in Las Vegas, March 12, 2007
This review is from: Roulette for the Weekend Gambler: How to Get In, Make Your Hit and Get Out a Winner (Plastic Comb)
This book warns you to stay away from the Roulette tables because there is not a system to beat it. After reading it I decided not to waste my money at the Roulette tables, just try blackjack instead.
