if for any other reason, the stylistics round 2 album, but mainly being the main reason why i purchased this album is for the ever lovely ballad "your as right as rain" this is one of the best ballads they ever did that russell thompkins jr.& the boys really poured their silky soul harmonies out on!its worth getting this album alone for,& to add to your blue lights in the basement grooves!groove on!joey hoffman 52757 a very good year!!

The Stylistics are a almost forgotten member of the 70's Philly Soul scene. Although they didn't sustain the longevity of artists like the O'Jays & Teddy Pendergrass, they released some professional soul music. Russell Thompkins has one of the most distinctive voices in soul music and he could hit some notes that few can reach. "I'm Stone In Love With You" was one of the best songs released in the 70's and "Break Up To Make Up" is another great tune. Other good songs include "You'll Never Get To Heaven", "It's Too Late" and "Children Of The Night".

They are one of the best groups around, I saw them and met them in person at a club I worked at, there was standing room only.they are and will be legends to the music industry. I would buy any of there albuns and recomend their music to anyone who likes quality music...

70's R&B at it's very best. No filler songs-all jams. Incredible
vocals and music. A must have CD.

Once again Russell and the crew comes through. I got everything these boys made. "You're as Right as Rain" and "Peek A Boo" are my favorites on the album (CD). No matter what I listen to of today's music, I always wind up coming back to that Sweet falsetto of Russell, Especially on PEEK A BOO.

These guys just never disappoint. I just purchased this the other day and have kept it playing through the weekend. I already know the hits, so I'm always curious as to what the other non-hit songs are like. I really enjoyed "If you don't watch out," "It's Too Late," (great re-make by the way!) and "Children of the Night."

Really great stuff from a group that should be more appreciated today and not seen as just an oldies group. Like another reviewer said, "They don't make music like this anymore."

I Have dug The Stylistics forever it seems.those SoulFUl voices are Timeless.this Album has so much feeling&depth.You"ll Never Get to Heaven(if you Break My Heart speaks Volumes.Must Have Soul Music.

Round 2 is an all-time classic. If possible put you hands on the first album too. Music isn't made like this anymore.
