The round glass pillar candle holders are great. I have and receive as gifts many pillar candles and they are perfect for them. Most, except very large pillars fit the candle holders and I also place other shaped candles on them. At times I want the candle to be the center of attention not the holder and these are perfect for that. They do not detract from your decor either. I purchased them through Amazon.com and had them sent by standard shipping. The arrived quickly and were packaged so none were cracked or broken. And all are in use for the holidays. I am considering purchasing more as I also give candles for gifts and the holders are perfect to give with the candle. I have used them as a coaster of sorts to set an item on the wooden table and avoiding damaging the table by heat or water. I also use them with flameless candles and candles that burn.

I originally planned to buy 2 of these to put my salt/pepper grinders on. I know it's not the stated use, but they seemed perfect for it. It was almost the same price to buy this pack of 6 so I did, and I've found them so useful. I'm using them for candles, to hold salt/pepper grinders, and even as a 'lid' on top of a round glass vase (the 'feet' help keep it from sliding off the top). They aren't fancy but they're perfect if you want something simple.
