Fits on Doors by W & F 3-11/16" Screw Holes This Mortise Lock has a 1/2 inch (12.7 millimeter) wide steel housing. The hook projection is adjustable and the keyway is in a vertical position with the hook fully extended. The lock has a round end face plate. This unit fits on doors manufactured by W&F . Minimum Order: 1 Package One lock with installation fasteners per package.

After not being able to find a replacement part from Home Depot, I logged on and found this. The specs matched perfectly. I'm not sure why others don't provide the measurement like this one does, but it was extremely helpful in ordering the part. After replacing, my patio door locks perfectly now !

paid overnight, not here email states 10/18/11, now amazon states 10/19/11 door was ready , now have to redo tommorow. It is late at night and UPS states they do not even have it yet, so not counting on tommorow strongly either. Needed it today, could have ordered this lots of places
