This is a great collection of jazz standards performed by one of the tightest trios around. Jons' smooth, tasteful piano work is complemented extremely well by the veteran rhythm section of Ron Carter on bass and Billy Higgins on drums. I enjoyed every tune on this disc & highly recommend it to anyone who likes classic, instrumental jazz.

Jon Mayer never ceases to amaze the listener with his ample technique and swinging style. He's a passionate and intelligent player. His ballads are expressive and his up tempos drive! This is a welcome addition to anyone's jazz piano library!
