4.0 out of 5 stars I like the second album, two album set November 29, 2011
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
First album - Gloom. Second album - Doom. Might have just fit on one album, but I didn't publish so who cares. That about sums it up. The other thing I would note is that the lyrics are not all that creative. They are clearly meant to sound profound. They really aren't. Agolloch and Moonsorrow blow Black Sun Aeon out of the water in that department. Problem being actually nothing about this album really stands out. It's a little like mood music at first. I thought, while I was listening to album one the first time - I could fall asleep to this. The second was interesting, but a wouldn't call it amazing. I give it four because there is so much material, and the second album makes up for the slow brooding qualities of the first, by being louder and impactful instrumentally.
